Environmental engineer Ali Sharif joins Cardno’s Glendale, CA office

Cardno, an international professional infrastructure and environmental services firm, has announced that Ali Sharif, PhD, PE has joined the firm as a project engineer in the company’s Glendale, California office. He brings 12 years of civil, water resources, and environmental engineering experience on flood control, land development, and coastal engineering projects.

Sharif is a licensed professional engineer and has performed a number of services including flood risk and uncertainty, flood mapping, erosion control, debris assessment, and sediment control and transport. He is experienced in stormwater management, living shorelines, and flood control systems, including levees, floodwalls, and dams.

In his role at Cardno, Sharif will work in Southern California, helping further expand Cardno’s natural resources business and leading the firm’s efforts on major environmental projects across the state.
